Delete your account and data
You can delete your TwoBible account and the data linked to it at any time, in the app or by email.
In the app
- Open TwoBible and go to Settings › Delete account (the gear icon is on the Us tab).
- Before deleting, you can download a copy of your data in Settings › Export my data.
Without the app, by email
Email suporte@twobible.com from your account’s email address with the subject “Delete account”. We confirm receipt and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
- Your account, profile and login.
- What you wrote and sent: devotional answers, journal, prayer requests, Counselor chats, Agreements, letters, photos and audio.
- Your connection with your partner: they’re told the connection ended, with no details, and your answers disappear on their side.
What we keep for a while, because the law requires it
- Access logs (IP, date and time): 6 months (Brazil’s Internet Civil Framework).
- Tax and payment records: for the period required by tax law (generally 5 years).
- Proof of consent and of acceptance of the Terms: 5 years, for our defense in legal proceedings.
- Backups: deleted within 30 days.
What about your subscription?
- Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought in the App Store or Google Play. Cancel it in the store.
- Subscribed on the website? Cancel through the link in your purchase email, or ask us to cancel it in the same deletion email.
Just want to delete your answers?
In Settings › Delete my answers, the app deletes what you wrote and keeps your account, the bricks in your House on the Rock and your couple streak.
